Our special day - arriving fast.

In a few more months, June 21, 2012 to be exact, will become a special day for our family. On this very day, we will become man and wife, a moment we have eagerly been waiting for since he proposed to me in April of last year. Norman and I have worked together at the same, local hospital since 1987 when we were both kids, in our early twenties.

We never had a clue, nor did we ever see it coming. He was with someone very special and I, at the time had a busy life, later married and had a son. A few years ago, his love passed away, and just recently I became a divorcee. Hurt and angry, I was a mess, bitter and alone, trying to raise an eleven year old, finish my associates degree, take care of an elderly mother and work full time, was slowly taking its toll on me.

Norman was going through some pretty tough changes of his own, we both needed a real friend, so gradually we began going out for coffee on our days off, just some small talk - sharing our pains, fears and yet beginning to find some sort of peace through our long-time friendship.

Now less then four months to the wedding and we are so blessed, happy and in love, its amazing what the Lord has done with us, oour lives and made Norman and I whole once more. We have never known such love or happiness, peace or contentment as we do now.
